Women are continuously living in an increasingly violent society in which the fear of crime is ever-present. Today, violence against women remains one of the biggest challenges. In the present descriptive study the researcher tries to explore how aware and prepared our females are about their safety. A random sample of 100 females reveals that we failed not only in providing a safe environment for them but also failed miserably in equipping and empowering them for their own protection.
