@Research Paper <#LINE#>Do remittances spur economic growth through export-led Growth: Empirical evidence from Sri Lanka?<#LINE#>S. @Maheswaranathan <#LINE#>1-8<#LINE#>1.ISCA-IRJSS-2022-018.pdf<#LINE#>Department of Economics, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Eastern University, Sri Lanka<#LINE#>11/7/2022<#LINE#>11/3/2023<#LINE#>Covering a sample from 1990 to 2020 the present study empirically investigates whether remittance influence the trade flows of Sri Lanka in long-run. The stationary condition of the series is verified by the ADF and Philips-Perron unit root tests. The short-run unilateral causality between export and remittances is validated using Wald Granger Causality. The long-run correlation between the variables is assessed using ARDL bound test techniques. The ECT method is used to verify that the variables have a long-term relationship. Further, ARDL bound test shows that remittance has positively influenced the export performance of Sri Lanka during the study period. It's conceivable that remittances are used for investment, and households have less desire to purchase imported goods and services. Granger Causality and ECT test validate the existence of short-run and long-run associations among the variables. Moreover, findings revealed, that exports and remittances influence the Sri Lankans' economic growth; hence efforts should be made to boost economic growth through remittance-led export. Thus, governments and policymakers should put more devised to enhance higher inflows of contemporary capital, like remittances, to stimulate export growth.<#LINE#>Ratha, D. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) plays a vital role for women entrepreneurs. Many homemakers are inspired by these campaigns and become self-reliant. The paper critically analyses the significance of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan in empowering homemakers in Belagavi city. The study examines how homemakers utilizing their leisure time help the family's economy. This study finds that more homemakers have become self-reliant by contributing to the family's income by making various homemade products and selling them.<#LINE#>Nishank, R. P. The unexpected demand for work-from-home propelled a fast-paced digital transformation in the work environment, and brought in its wake, numerous challenges. Specifically, with distinctions between ‘work’ and ‘home’ severely lacking, this transition has challenged traditional gender roles within households. It has also necessitated a rapid adaptability across age groups. This research study aims to assess the influence of gender and age differences in burnout, job satisfaction, and work-life balance among corporate telecommuters. The Copenhagen Burnout Inventory, The Generic Job Satisfaction Scale, and the Work-Life Balance Scaleare administered to a sample of 30 male and 30 female Indian corporate telecommuters, with 30 telecommuters under the age of 40 and 30 telecommuters over the age of 40. Descriptive statistical methods and independent measures t-test are utilized for the purpose of data analysis. Corporate telecommuters below the age of 40 report higher burnout, lower job satisfaction and higher work/personal life enhancement than their counterparts below the age of 40, while no significant gender-based differences are observed. This suggests the imminent need for age-based accommodations in a remote working setting as well as a possible erosion of gender-normative views on domestic roles while telecommuting.<#LINE#>Putro, S. However, Non-adopted farmers were fall off in awareness and adopting the service in counterpart with adopted farmers. The three-fourth of adopted farmers completely know about the weather advisories and weather advisories bulletin was the major source of communication for the advisories issued by the Centre. However, merely one-fourth of AAS farmers were willingness about pay based services at present due to their resource constraints.<#LINE#>Bal, S. K., & Minhas, P. S. The word Atmanirbhar in itself says that one has to be independent and self-reliant in all dimensions. The mission aims to prepare India for the global market, promote manpower skills and reduce dependence on other countries. Therefore, in 2020, the Government of India has taken a big step in the arena of education and has implemented the New Education Policy-2020. This policy is a milestone among all previous education policies as it suggests directional change from schools to higher educational level. With the motto of expansion and excellence emphasizes on skilling with the principle which is a visionary and futuristic step, and the policy suggests a radical reform of the educational structure so that the students are prepared to meet the new challenges. It also helps students to improve their skills and build well-rounded professional personalities to make India a developed, digital and self-reliant country. Atmanirbhar Bharat is a step toward realizing the sustainability objectives, such as eradicating inequality, improving health care and education and reducing poverty. In the current paper, Atmanirbhar Bharat is analysed through PMMSY. The study tries to determine PMMSY's achievements and progress. It also examines how production and exports have increased over time and how these two factors relate to one another. According to the study, fisheries productivity increased significantly in the years 2017–18 with 11.13% annual average growth but declined in 2020–21 (–2.08%). The policy outlines a framework or road map for responding to disasters in a thorough and all-encompassing way. Accordingly, the state government bears the main responsibility for handling a crisis. The Disaster Management Authority is also set up at the national, state, and district levels. The unveiling of a new government programme is something that the people of India have learned to anticipate. With Make in India, "Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan," and Demonetisation or Less Cash in the last seven years, "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" now refers to a self-sufficient nation. The paper aims to understand the Importance of Community Awareness and Preparedness in Disaster Risk Reduction and to know the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan for Disaster Risk Reduction and its management in communities. The paper's objectives have been met, and the paper has been constructed based on those results. It relied on secondary sources such as magazines, books, and websites, among other things. The descriptive method was used throughout this paper.Every facet of disaster management involves the community in a significant way. The planning for disaster management would not be accomplished without their input and involvement. Assessing community engagement and awareness in rural and urban regions.<#LINE#>Patil, P.
