Seven stages of Dyeing effluents were used as treatment variables and compare their effect on germination attributes and early growth stage of country bean. The treatment of neutralization stage (D) to enhanced the germination percentage remarkably (100%) as well as statistically identical with the result of underground water (D) whereas the treatments of effluent from 2nd wash after Bath (D) and mixed effluent from ETP were showed poor germination (73.33 %). Second wash after scouring and bleaching treatment (D) also showed good result. All results has been taken by considering other germination oriented parameters, such as germination energy, relative germination rate, effluent injury rate, germination velocity. On the contrary, outstanding result was showed at seedling growth stage from the treatment of D except others. But D treatment performed very poor among all parameters. This work describes the ionospheric anomaly, if any, found over the associated ionospheric stations prior to occurrence of four earthquakes during last seven years at different locations of earth. We analyzed Maximum Usable Frequency Factor M(3000)F2 data records, by lower and upper bound, and the observed perturbations associated to geomagnetic disorder were filtered out. After filtration, the remaining anomalies were analyzed in association to the occurrence of earthquake. Thus the time interval taken in this analysis comes under the calm geomagnetic activities. The results of the analysis found a few remarkable anomalies in Maximum Usable Frequency Factor. These perturbations are solidly time dependent and seen few days prior to the seismic event. It may be due to the generation of seismogenic electric field on the surface of the earth well before the seismic event. Department of Geology, University of Jammu, Jammu-180006, INDIA<#LINE#>7/7/2013<#LINE#>23/7/2013<#LINE#>Five species of gastropods and two of bivalves are being reported, and described from the mudstone horizon immediately underlying geochronologically dated (2.8±0.56m.y.) bentonitized tuff band exposed at Barakhetar village in a stream cutting section. The reported fauna comprises Gastropods: Gastrocopta sp., Gyraulus sp. indet., Viviparus bengalensis, Viviparus sp., Bellamya celispiralis and Bivalves: Lamellidens lewisi, Oxynaia sp. indet. Stratigraphically, the fossil (gastropod and bivalve) bearing mudstone horizon belongs to the Nagrota Formation of Upper Siwalik Subgroup of Jammu Province, Jammu and Kashmir, India and located about 30km east of Jammu city.
