Abstract

Microwave-assisted organic synthesis is an enabling technology for accelerating drug discovery and development processes. Pyrazolidine are well-known and important five membered heterocyclic compounds and various methods have been worked out for their synthesis. Therefore, in this work a new series of pyrazolidine derivatives were synthesized by different Chalcones under microwave irradiation. These derivatives were screened for their antimicrobial activity against different microorganism. The structures of synthesized compounds were established on the basis of elemental analysis IR, 1HNMR and 13CNMR spectra.
