Synthesis and Characterization of Tetraformamido [2-amino-5-(phenyl) thiazole] substituted metal Phthalocyanines

Abstract

Title compound were synthesised by the simple method by the melt condensation of the tetracarboxy metal phthalocyanine with 2-amino-5-phenyl thiazole. Proposed method is better method for the synthesis of heterocyles substituted soluble metal phthalocyanine. Soluble phthalocyanine obtained in good yield and purity was characterized by various spectral techniques like H NMR, Mass spectra, IR and UV-Visible spectroscopic techniques.
