Abstract

Modular kitchen has become a synonym for the new age kitchen and its furnishing layouts. It comprises of stylish modules of cabinets that are specifically designed to store a lot of items. The modular kitchens are need of every house-hold and family which are made for well-planned spacious home. Aim of the Study is to find out the awareness and usage of Modular Kitchen Furniture by the Home Makers, which type of Shutter/Drover Material they have used for their Modular Kitchen furniture and which type of trolley design they prefer more.40 home makers were the respondents for the study. All the data regarding Modular Kitchen Furniture were collected personally by the investigators on a pre-validated interview schedule. The findings of the current study will help the home makers, Interior Designers, students, Architects to wisely choose and buy modular kitchen furniture for their client’s home.
